Foshan United Medical Technologies Ltd. (UMT) is dedicated in the development and manufacturing of advanced wound and skin care products.
Delivering outstanding product performance combined with reliable and trusted manufacturing processes. Launched in 2010, we are a Sino-British joint venture located in Foshan, Guangdong Province, China, close to Hong Kong and Macao.
UMT is currently located in the town of Shishan with all the capabilities necessary for the development and manufacturing of advanced wound dressings and other medical devices. With the strategic growth of the company, we are pleased to announce that in 2024 the company will be relocating to a new state of the art purpose-built facility in the neighbouring town (Dali). This will enable further expansion of our operations and services.
With continued growth over the past 10 years, UMT has developed in to a medium-sized medical device company, with over 150 employees in 2021. UMT has a lean management structure, the company is agile, and able to make decisions independently, which gives us a great advantage in the marketplace.

Passed the Quality Management System audit and received the ISO 13485 certificate from the Notified Body BSI.

Awarded the Product Registration Certificate from CFDA for alginate wound dressing.

Awarded CE certificate for alginate wound dressing.

Awarded CE Examination certificate and CE Marking certificate for chitosan wound dressing (Class III).

Awarded FDA 510(K) clearance for chitosan wound dressing.

Awarded the Product Registration Certificate from CFDA for PU film dressing.

Received the honour of ‘High Tech Company' status from Guangdong Provincial Government.
Nov. 2016
Passed the MDSAP audit and received the MDSAP certification, becoming the first company in Asia to achieve BSI MDSAP accreditation.

Awarded the Product Registration Certificate from CFDA for wound closure device.

Received the honorary award of "Grand City Trades and Crafts Studio' in Nanhai District of Foshan City.
